About Salon de Kago
Located in Hiroo, Tokyo, "Salon de Kago" offers a unique opportunity to experience traditional Japanese Yamabudo basket weaving. It's a place where you can escape the city's hustle and immerse yourself in the luxurious world of handcrafts. We also offer online lessons, sharing the beauty of Yamabudo with enthusiasts both in Japan and abroad.

6-minute walk from Hiroo Station.
From Narita Airport to Hiroo

Take the Narita Express (N’EX) to Shibuya Station (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes).

From Shibuya Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and get off at Hiroo Station (approximately 10 minutes).

Alternatively, take the Airport Limousine Bus to Ebisu or Shibuya, then take a taxi or transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line to Hiroo.
From Haneda Airport to Hiroo

Take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station (approximately 20 minutes), then transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Ebisu Station. From Ebisu, take the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line to Hiroo Station (approximately 7 minutes).

As the founder of Salon de Kago, my passion lies in sharing the joy of creating. I believe anyone can learn to make beautiful things if they set their mind to it. Through years of teaching, I've learned the importance of tailoring my approach to each student, ensuring everyone finds their own path to mastery. My goal is for you to not just learn a technique, but to truly enjoy the process of bringing your unique vision to life.
I speak basic English, but for detailed explanations, I let technology do the work.

It’s possible to make a mini basket in as few as four intensive lessons.
For example, if you attend four lessons (from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM) within one month, you can complete this basket.
